“Fresh on board” is a system re- designing of dining system on train 69.

Research

Firstly, the team went to the upstate New York for a retreat, at there, they find out two problems, which are: dining system on trains is not very satisfying. And the other one is that farmers from remote areas need a way to advertise for their farm produce. Then after doing some research and interviewing some people, the team come up with our design principle: How might we improving on board dining system while allowing farmers from remote areas use it as a way of advertisement.

The artifacts

Each part of our packaging can be give a second-life, such as the back of the utensils can be chipped of and use as book marks, the over wrap can be use as a nice route map.

Kuan’s most important contribution to the project is graphic design and video editing . Since the project is redesign an experience , so He think it’s really important to show the experience through a video.

Jiani  is a good teammate, she respect my opinions and we discuss everything , that’s why our work sessions are very effective, and we come up with something that we are both really proud of.
